Internet Persistence - An Example

Still around, after nearly 7 years!

... this post to a newsgroup. I found out about it while doing some "ego-Googling" for different variations of my name, since it is so common. I searched for "Daniel A. Johnson, Jr." with the quotation marks so that it would turn up all occurrences of my full signature name, and it found a link on PHOAKS (People Helping One Another Know Stuff), which contains this post to the sci.chem.coatings newsgroups from way back in 1996:
