Instead of letting that get you down, why not find the little varmint and try out one of these groundhog recipes. I've heard they taste like chicken. Or, you can watch the hilarious 1993 movie starring Bill Murray: Groundhog Day (1993).

Jamie Simpson, chief meteorologist at Channel 7 (WHIO-TV) here in Dayton, asks, "Is Groundhog's Day groundless?" In his article he relates how the tradition behind Groundhog Day began. Perhaps the furry rodent is smarter than we'd like to give him credit.
