At Least It's Comfortable

"It's Ohio, but it's comfortable."

Please tell me that there's more to Ohio than that. It's as though the statement is saying, "Ohio is not the best place to live, but at least it's more comfortable than where you are now." Way to promote the state. Geez.

I think I need another cup of coffee.

I hope the person didn't mean it as it sounded.

Ohio is a beautiful State.
The history and culture are rich.
the scenery is fabulous; the seasons change.

Unless someone just couldn't handle the cold in the winter i'd think it was a great place to go for the Katrina victims.

Ohio has a history of accepting people from other states and cultures.
During the early part of the last century many people migrated from other states for the jobs in manufacturing.

Many immigrants relocated to Ohio from Ellis Island; my maternal grandparents being two who did.

Ohio is a melting pot of many cultures, beliefs, and attitudes.

I think the victims of katrina will be accepted and will find it easy to move on with their lives in The Buckeye State.
