A Teller of Stories This Holiday Season

Mood: upbeat but a little tired
Listening to: The Second Noel soundtrack
Reading: Luke 2
Eating: lasagna and salad
Watching: a movie on the Disney Channel about Hanukkah

I love being a storyteller, especially for my daughter:

Over the past few weeks, for her bedtime story, I've been reading in the Bible about the events leading up to Jesus being born.

It's really neat to see how Keisha has put the words and events we're reading about together with the words of popular Christmas carols. One of those "aha" moments.

So tonight we ready about the shepherds watching in their fields, and how, after they'd seen Jesus, they went and told everyone else about him.

That's a good enough example of evangelism for me. Even with a holiday flavor.

Let's go tell it on the mountain. Let's shout it from the rooftops. Let's make everyone aware that Jesus Christ is born!
