Talk Therapy Is Sometimes Best for Depression

One drawback in seeking treatment for depression may be the thought of having to take medication. According to this WebMD article, new research challenges the widely accepted idea that drugs are the only effective, initial treatment for major depression.

Interesting article. Seems to be some truth in it for myself. Haven't had meds for awhile and seem to be ok. depression still a factor but my environment changed so I approach it differently.Not to say meds don't have a place and I may need them in the future but being able to release what is pent up seems to have a healing quality.
